The entry to the Dhikala zone is through the Dhangari gate, which is 18 km from Ramnagar and 32 km from the Dhikala tourist complex. This zone is closed for tourists during the rainy season due to safety reasons and remains open from November 15 to June 15.

Attractions at Dhikala Night Stay
Chaurs (Grass Lands)
Dhikala's grasslands are full of elephants, spotted deer, wild pigs, and hog deer. Sometimes, you might even see a tiger crossing the grass or chasing a deer. It's like a real-life nature show!
Watch Tower
The Dhikala watchtower offers a great view of the wildlife in the nearby grasslands and the Ramganga riverbed. It's only a 10-minute walk from the Dhikala night stay. There’s also a waterhole nearby, perfect for spotting deer, elephants, wild pigs, and sometimes a tiger.
Crocodile Point at Gairal
Crocodile Point near Gairal lets you see crocodiles up close. It’s like a natural balcony overlooking a pool where crocodiles often hang out. Great for a quick stop to watch these fascinating creatures.
Canter Safari
If you want to see wildlife in Corbett but aren't staying in Dhikala, the Canter Safari is your best bet. It's a 16-seater open-air bus that takes you from Ramnagar to Dhikala and back. Just remember to book ahead on the official website.
Sambar Trail
The Sambar Trail goes from the Dhikala watchtower to the Khinanauli rest house. This is a top spot for seeing tigers because it's between the hills and the river. Elephants also visit here often.
