The main cost components

1. Safari

• Jeep safari: booked per jeep (up to 6 people). Indicative ~₹7,200 per jeep (Indian); ~₹13,000 (foreign). Guide fee usually paid on the spot.
• Canter safari (Dhikala): booked per person. Indicative ~₹2,500 (Indian) / ~₹4,500 (foreign).

2. Stay

• Budget resorts: lower-cost, comfortable bases.
• Mid-range resorts: more comfort and amenities.
• Premium/luxury resorts: spacious rooms, pools, dining and activities.
• Forest rest houses: Forest Department tariffs, basic but unique.

Tariffs vary widely by season, weekday/weekend and demand.

3. Food

Resort meal plans (breakfast/half-board/full-board) or local restaurants in Ramnagar. Inside the park, only vegetarian canteen food is available at certain rest houses.

4. Transport

Taxi from Delhi/Pantnagar/Ramnagar, plus local travel to your gate. Hotel pickup for safari is an add-on if not included.

5. Extras

Sightseeing, activities, tips, shopping and miscellaneous.
